Welcome to the Official Host site for the 2005 and 2006 ConocoPhillips USA National Swimming Championships. In addition to the USA Nationals, the Novaquatics Swim Team and the Woollett Aquatics Center serves as host team to the Speedo Grand Challenge and will also serve as host to the 2005 and 2006 Speedo Junior National Swimming Championships. In addition, Irvine will be the destination of the 2005 Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool.

The Mutual of Omaha Duel in the Pool which precedes the USA Nationals (August 2) will be one of the greatest events to come to Southern California, much like the 2004 USA Olympic trials. Featuring the USA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP team against the highly regarded Australian WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP team in head-to-head competition. The Duel in the Pool will be one of the premiere broadcast events presented by NBC Sports this summer. Hot on the heels of the USA -vs- Australia Duel meet will be the USA National Championships (August 3-7), where at stake will be the prestigious USA Titles. Who will reign supreme in American Swimming? Finally, the Speedo Junior National Championships takes place August 9-13 to cap off a season of outstanding competition.

While the athletes will take center stage, playing an important role will be the center stage itself, the William Woollett, Jr Aquatics Center. Opened in September 2004, the Woollett Aquatics Center is home to USA Swimming's Gold Medal team, the Irvine Novaquatics. The Center boasts two 50 meter x 25 yard competition pools along with a 25 yard x 25 meter teaching pool.
